Immediately followed by “pulled the engine out so will need engine”.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Rule number one of saying a car runs and drives is that it should at the very least run.

Stop looking at other cars and get that Shelby. That interior is mint.
But, yes, that drives me up a wall. “Runs and drives great, needs a transmission”. Well then, no, IT DOESN’T RUN.

I think that’s more of a bit of advice on what to do when considering this car, he’s only missing a comma. “Run, and drive fine”. Run, run away...this car has no engine.

I’ve seen several ads that say “The engine runs and drives, but it needs a transmission” and I’m still curious how it manages to drive without one.

He sold it before I had to chance to go see it. Total bummer, especially since he told me afterwards that the car started right up with a jump.

Without a transmission, it could still run... Just not drive.

I mean, you can’t make that sh*t up. Like, how often would you say about any craigslist car, “Yeah, the guy says it runs and drives fine but just needs [insert critically important component here] haha” but that missing piece isn’t ususlly the WHOLE ENGINE, wtf.
